Assign Teams from Marble Race Results
Prepare One Marble per Person
Replace the sample names with your participants, one per line. Use distinct labels when people share a name, and enter each person once without a multiplier. Decide how many teams you need before starting the race.
Wait for the Complete Ranking
Choose a map and press Start Race. Let every marble finish so each participant appears in the ranking. The app produces a finishing order; you assign people to teams yourself. It does not automatically create team lists or balance skill levels.
Split into Two Teams
Write down the results. Put finishers 1, 3, 5, and so on in Team A; put finishers 2, 4, 6, and so on in Team B. With an odd number of participants, Team A will have one extra person.
Split into Three or More Teams
For three teams, assign places 1, 4, 7 to Team A; 2, 5, 8 to Team B; and 3, 6, 9 to Team C. Continue cycling through your teams for every finisher. This keeps team sizes within one person of each other, but does not guarantee equal skills or selection probabilities.
